Kawasaki Noslisu

Piaggio (Vespa) has been building scooters with similar format wheel articulation for several years now, in 250 cc and 500 cc sizes. I've never ridden one, but they look intriguing. It appears the extra weight and maybe friction reduce performance somewhat. The scooters' front wheels are a little closer together than these e bikes (or e trikes?). I have to admit I sometimes feel wobbly on 2 wheels at my age. More riding is the cure, of course.

Yamaha Niken has similar layout too.

Nice big headlight, should be mounted higher up on the handlebars or tall loads would obscure it, but at the 1’29” point of the video it shows the lady with the vegetables with her light on the handlebars so it can be repositioned to the top of the steering tube which is useful. Like the dual mirrors, and is that a license plate holder under the rear light?

Unfortunately this review is in Japanese, but at least there's a video

Looks like it's Bafang 😲

Back from the dead, I guess. Didn't know about this thread, so I posted in the leaning trike one instead. Anyway, so this is the gist of that posting. Here are the three models of the Noslisu that were released in Japan this June:

I would really like to get the Noslisu Cargo, the last one in the article. If I could get it anywhere close to the Japanese retail price I would be a very happy man. Though, I do foresee a Grin wheel and a 52v battery. That, and a thudbuster;).

What junk. It is a Bafang hub drive! The white, first bike, has only one front disc. How does that impact steering while braking down hill? It will crash and fall apart.

That's what my upgrade to a Grin wheel with regenerative braking addresses, that, and more power.
