Well I took advantage of Black Friday savings and purchased my first eBike(s) from Rad Power Bikes! I picked up two more of the Pearl White Radwagons as Santa and plan on surprising my wife for Xmas. I have them at work were I put them together and am now trying to tune them up and check them out. So far one had a damaged front rotor during shipping and the other seems to have a straight back tire but the rear fender is rubbing and the only way I see to fix this is I’ll have to remove the tire to get to the fender mounting hardware. ALL disk brakes rub and make noise so the all need to be adjusted... One thing leads to another and the two bike racks I already own cannot be used to carry the Radwagons at 65lbs each without battery so I had to also get the Hollywood rack... Well I requested the replacement rotor and it’s on it’s way, I have the two batteries charged and ready, I have three more disk brakes to adjust, and based on what I have been reading here I should give all the spokes on both bikes at least a 1/2 turn and check they ar tight... So Santa has a little work to get done befor a test drive...

Welcome to the forum! Once you get those Rads sorted, you and your wife will have such a ball. My wife and I have enjoyed riding our ebikes together so much.

Taking my time as I have to put these together at work after hours. Took them out for a test drive in the parking lot yesterday.

I pumped the tires and one had a rubbing rear fender. Took the rear wheel out and made the hole securing fender larger so I could move it over... fixed for now.

Other one need front derailer adjust as there is slight rub on chain guard in largest sprocket. Easy fix.

One loose front light mount where I had to toghten the small screws under light...

I adjusted one bike for no brake rub on front and almost none on back. Then found link at Rad that says rubbing for first 25-50 miles is normal so I left the other bike alone. I did have to replace one bent front rotor that they quickly sent me a new one.

Installed the two shock seat posts and they work great.

Hollywood rack came in and it’s assembled and ready. Need to come up with an easy way to get two 65lb bikes up onto it.

Getting closer to Xmas so I need to finalize a strategy to get these home and somehow hide them till Santa is ready to reveal.
