Last year i bought a used Gary Fisher Hybrid. I commuted to work for a week with it. Eight miles each way. Mostly side streets but one dicey spot with some heavy traffic. After 8 hours of work the ride home was a push. Did OK though. On the weekend I do 40+ rides. Read about Rad Power and their history. Rode it to work Friday, very nice. Had to hold back on the speed since it was pretty cool in the morning and my face was freezing. Saturday I went for another ride, nicer weather. Had to stop and talk to a guy who recognized the bike since he was considering it. Hoping to convince my wife to ride it on recreational rides when I ride my Hybrid. No problems so far other than I want $300 in accessories. This group is just what I was looking for since I purged myself from Face Book a month ago.
