Couldn’t have been too cold as the tall guy in the foreground is wearing jeans with no coveralls!😉
I love seeing the utility of ebikes!
It was +20. We took turns warming up in the shelters, we had two so we could stay in our Covid bubbles.
If you weren't from the same household you couldn't go in that shelter.

Interested in hearing details of how the towing was done. As in where the tow rope was attached to the bike etc. Please. 👍
Pretty shade tree...
I zip tied a clip on the rack, you can see them all on the rack....the red ends are sticking up.
Clipped in the tow rope and off we went.

One shelter with gear probable goes a little over 100lbs and there was 4 inches of fluffy snow. You could feel it back there especially over bumps, but it had zero problems pulling it.
The other smaller one weighed about 80 lbs. Never knew it was back there.

Here is my ultimate goal.
This shelter weighs under 100lbs so I can handle it myself. I'm about a 5 minute ride from the lake so I want to figure out a way to get all my gear and the shelter to the lake. I know I can use a trailer etc. but these shelters have a sled/tub in them and you normally load everything into the tub and off you go. So if I could put it on wheels.....
Might have to brush off my TIG skills and weld something up. But I really suck at TIG welding!

The hunting bike sellers carry trailers that look like that whole sled could fit in them. They attach to the axle with a double yoke or tongue. Very stable. The Robert Axle Project supplies replacement thru axles with attachment fittings sticking out both sides of the bike. But you probably know all this. :)

yes, I've researched a lot. Some trailers come close but not ideal. In fact, if you want a laugh I'll go take a picture of my shed.
There are three different trailers in it from dog hauler to deer hauler! LOL..

The problem with that bike is the stupid ancient dropouts! 5mm skewers...ugh. I have a knuckle type attachment that works on the rear dropout for the dog hauler, but the only option for the deer cart is attaching to the rack.

I drool over the Burley Travoy and would like to justify the $300 price tag. I'm sure you've looked at that one, too.

Ya major sticker shock with that one. But I need something more in line with this..
But major price pucker factor on this one!
