Looks interesting. I would really like to test ride even if it may not be the best bike for my excursions.
Single speed automatic? Is that some kind of CVT? (continous variable transmission)
350W Brose motor it says. But it appears to be a 25km/h bike and I thought 250W was max in EU for that class.

Dear PaD,
Mechanical transmission is a single speed. No kind of CVT. We speak about automatic because there is no need to choose a level of assistance. The assistance level is setted automatically, many time by seconds, by our intelligent system to provide the better comfort and optimise battery to assist you until you reach your destination.
So, ''Automatic'' is to caracterise the asssistance, not the transmission.
About the motor power. We are under the EU regulation. You are right, regulation is 250W max. BUT, it is 250W max IN CONTINUS MODE. You can overgo 250W during peaks. That Brose Motor does.
Moreover, if you have a 250W max motor, it will deliver 250W only for one specific motor speed, and so, really not often.
With a 350W motor that you limit at 250W in continus, you can have 250W on a larger plage of speed. You can have 250W more often.
It is the reason why, still under EU regulation, bikes with 350W motor, limited to 250W are more confortable to use than bike with ''small'' 250W max motors.
Hope I answered to your questions.
