One of our new Espin bikes had a battery that was WAY too snug fitting. It had to be pried up at the top/front while holding the key in the unlocked position. Pretty difficult even when your hands are the size of mine (huge). This morning I circled back around to this issue and did some checking. I took a straight edge to the sides of the battery opening and the reason for the issue was pretty clear. Both sides were bowed in slightly. A block of wood (to prevent damage while "adjusting") and a hammer fixed the issue pretty easily. A couple of whacks, then a recheck with straight edge took care of the issue a little at a time, ending with a "just right" fit. -Al
