Is there a particular Supercharger or Superdelite configuration that will allow

.. the bike to be ridden close to a traditional bike? ie less resistance when in the lowest modes or motor off completely? Alternatively, is there a consensus "fastest" configuration for the supercharger and superdelite models?

The weight of the bike and the drag of the drive unit make for a bit of slog without assist in my experience, but I'm not a particularly strong rider and I tend to spin at a higher cadence.

I'd say GT Touring HS if we're looking at "fastest" from a perspective of acceleration and mechanical efficiency personally, but that's pretty subjective.

I have an SC2 and on longer rides once I’m “up to speed” on flat terrain I’ll turn off boost assistance and pedal without power.

Can be done.

I have vario + belt
