Does anybody know if the haibike 2019 models (ie. sduro, xduro) have easy internal cable routing ie. pre-built routes inside the frame so you can simply insert the cable at one end and it will easily find its way at the other end.
Ok, found out that actually there is none but I replaced the rear derailleur shift cable quite easily and got a feeling how it goes.
First, I removed the cable inlets
and then inserted the cable housing into the top tube and gently pressed it until it reached the end, very close to where the exit cable inlet was.
I used a set of tweezers to pick it up; wasn't that easy but it doesn't matter if you destroy the end of the housing a bit, you'll end up cutting it anyway.
So, no dedicated routing in case of Haibike but the process ain't that painful either.
PS. Initially I tied up a small string to the end of my original cable housing so I would use it when inserting the new one. This actually proved to be more complicated than it sounds because the cable is slippery as ****. I eventually wasted so much time with this that I removed the string and directly inserted the new housing.
