I'm encouraged to have an organization like RTC ,with considerable industry clout in our corner.

I am also glad they support e-bikes on the trails but I always get a little squirmish when discussing regulations.

I saw this in my RTC email and was frankly a bit surprised. I joined a couple of years back but didn't renew this year. I didn't closely study all their newsletters in the past but I had the impression they were a bit silent on the subject of e-bikes on rail trails. That was part of my decision not to renew my membership. I figured there was a fair chance that many rail trails would eventually decide to ban e-bikes. But this communication was encouraging.
