I went to adjust my VIVi Electric bike and throttle does not work

Hi all I am pretty new to the forum. I am so frustrated and do not know what to do. I have a VIVi commuter Ebike. Well I bought it a year and a half ago and am just now starting to ride it. Anyway the tires were rubbing so I thought well I will adjust the disc breaks which I did then when I went to turn the power on the gauge lights up but there is nooooo power. I have no idea what I did because I did not touch any power cables to have the power die. Its a new Ebike. Anyone else have this issue if so can you please let me know what you did to fix the issue.
