it goes to a dinky down In the mountains Vernonia or. looks fun there is a new paved path 20 miles long. about 1000 feet of climbing. get to a new place. but the biggest problem us getting to the start of the trail. its a little over 2 hours on the train and a bus to get there. a 40-mile round trip and back on the bus again. not sure if I could go that long on trains and such anymore. I used to do it a lot before I started riding but sitting that long is is hard and unless I could find a place to change into my padded shorts it would not be great. looks like google mapped it the whole way too.

Looks like a nice ride. Google says the park at the end of the trail has a campground with showers and electrical. You could take a sleeping bag and tent and split it into 2 days. Maybe even bike from Hillsboro if that improves the saddle time to train time ratio?

I am no camper and with my extreme food issues eating is a real issue with any traveling. anymore I can only cycle at most 40 miles. my rear can't handle siting that long anymore so I use more assistance to go faster. but just getting there is the big turnoff. my wife is at her mom's this week and I thought about this or going to the coast with my bike on the bus. but I can't ride all day like I did last year did 65 miles. so I get bored and you can't walk a lot when you have a bike.
