As I mentioned in the Creo thread, I brought my Creo in to have the bike shop add the "remote" power buttons to the handlebar. While in the shop I did two days of riding (a 23 miles and a 15 miler) on my custom titanium bike with front wheel hub motor. Both this custom bike and the Creo has the Kinekt seat post. But I really noticed the vibration that rough road surfaces telegraph to the handlebar without Future Shock. I had not really thought about it before. Nice work Specialized.

I guess I also noticed that the front hub motor is more powerful and causes some of the steeper hills to put a bit less pressure on the knees. I still could not keep up with a friend who has a much more powerful motor. Oh, this bike also has a "granny gear" although it is only two upfront and it is NOT really a granny. But I do like that extra gearing option. Maybe one day they will come up with a slimmer motor that allows another ring up front.

And, yes, @Stefan Mikes as we have discussed, it does not provide any assist unless I pedal so it is still a workout.

My workout contribution on a full power e-bike is less than 30%, while it is over 50% on the SL :) I noticed I could not lose body mass on my first hub-drive motor e-bike.

I'm glad you're happy with the Future Shock. Specialized offered upgrading my 4.0 with Future Shock and CF fork for some PLN3200 (it buys you an excellent traditional bike here). I said thank you to the CF fork and went for Redshift ShockStop. Probably as good as the FutureShock ;)
