Hi everyone! I have an Easy Motion electric bike that is about 10 years old. The battery charger was lost, and I am told the battery, after sitting uncharged for so long, is likely in need of replacement. So, I am looking for a battery and a charger. I have attached some pictures of the battery for reference; it's about 18-19 inches long and about 2" x 2.5" in circumference." If anyone has information on these items, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you! If you are inclined to email, my address is [email protected] - Marshall

Hi! I went through something similar with an older Easy Motion a while back. After sitting so long, batteries often lose capacity or refuse to take a charge — it’s pretty common on ebikes that are a decade old.

For Easy Motion models (Neo/Evo/Atom/etc.), most of the older batteries are 36 V or 48 V lithium-ion packs. There are a couple of ways to approach a replacement: a direct OEM replacement if you can find one, or a good quality aftermarket battery built to the same voltage and connector specs.

The key things to match are voltage, physical size/connector, and charger type. A battery that’s the wrong voltage or connector won’t plug in or could damage your controller.

If you want to go aftermarket, there are vendors that make quality 36 V / 48 V ebike battery packs using modern Samsung or LG cells with built-in BMS protection — they often come with matching chargers too. Those will give you better range and longevity than a ten-year-old stock pack.

Worth checking older Easy Motion specific rebuild services/forums as well — some people offer custom rebuilt packs that fit the exact housing.

Thank you for this information!

I'm not sure which model Easy Motion bike you have, but there is a charger available on eBay which might work:

If it fits your battery, try charging it and see how much life it has. Then shop for a new battery if necessary.

If you send the seller a picture of the charge port on the battery, he may be able to determine if it will work.
