There are several excellent threads that discuss saddles at length like THIS ONE. You'll find more with the Search function.
It comes down to a very personal decision. I agree with MMS that your LBS is a good place to start. Several manufacturers have saddle fit programs for starting points that your shop can explain.
Visit your local bike shop.
Some saddle manufacturers have a try-before-buy program for saddles.
Saddles are very personal and subjective so what may work for one person may not work for you. Everybody's sit bones are different.
Fizik and SelleItalia are a couple that have try-before-buy programs. There's a few others.
Specialized and Bontranger offer 30 day return policies for saddles that don't work for you and your local LBS may offer an internal saddle program that is not manufacturer specific.
What I have done is ordered a few different ones thru Amazon and sent back to the seats that did not work for me. People on these forums seem to like the Cloud 9 seats and I have had luck with the Giddy Up brand...
My local bike shop has narrow blades for drop handlebar riders that never sit down.
I've found the biggest stock at modernbike.com but I don't send back the ones I don't like. My mistake, my loss. Selle royale respiro looked great, was waaaay too hard for my fat free hips.
Cloud9 requires a seat post, which my yuba bike doesn't have. Selle had rails like brooks, but the brooks seat I have is too narrow & too hard. The hard plastic yuba oem seat had a round top, convex where my hips are convex. Useless.
There are several online selectors, probably ok to narrow your choices before an Amazon buy. Bike shops are fine but not many will allow trials of saddles, even for ten minutes.
Maybe if we knew details like what bike, your preferred riding style, etc., we could help more.
I’ve been using a Serfas E-Gel seat for my Trek Allant+7 and I love it!

Keep in mind that the most important thing is probably finding a saddle that fits your butt properly, rather than a maximally squishy saddle. Also, any saddle can and will become a torture device if/when it is improperly adjusted.
