Hyd Brakes Suggestion

Thinking about upgrading the brakes on my RadWagon to hydraulic. Any suggestions or feedback on brands?

Cable activated hydraulic brakes are a good solution.

At the same time you may think about going to a bigger rotor also which will enhance performance. You will need rotors and the compatible mounts for this.

I put cable activated on my Rover and they work great and are super easy to install as you don't need to deal with installing anything but the calipers.

If you want to improve the brakes you really need much better housing. if you don't replace the housing your not going to see as much improvement. you want a good compresionless housing like https://www.amazon.com/Jagwire-Brak...id=1673388845&sprefix=jagwire,aps,146&sr=8-10

I have Juin Tech mountain cable actuated and they are excellent. So good I used them again on another bike where full hydraulic would have been just as easy.

Also, I second the comment re compressionless cable. It makes all the difference in the world on any cabled brake, regardless of type. I would change the cable before changing the brake caliper. You'll be amazed how much better the old tekro brakes will feel.
