.. Been riding this Townie 7D with the magic pie motor for years 1-2 hours allmost every day .. 2 torque arms I ride slow 7-8 MPH .. everything "seems" OK .. But those lower legs sure are thin and the dropouts are really thin .. I have only had the Nuts back off 3 times in all of the years .. Still .. I am thinking of upgrading to a chrommolly fork that normally used for cargo bikes .. The specs fit I would need to upgrad to a threadless bearing setup but that would be another upgrade ... The Surley Troll Fork is the one that seems to fit the bill .. Anyone have any experience with anything I'm thinking of doing .. Suggestions please ..

It seems like it would be better to just switch to a rear hub motor instead if you are worried about the integrity of the fork. Magic Pie sells a kit for the rear wheel, but of course, there are many other options as well. Although, I don't think your current fork is a problem with two torque arms and only riding 7-8 mph. The Surly Troll fork would certainly be strong enough if you like the look of it.
