Hub motor issue - HF1100 MAC - does not function

.
I am a big fan of Juiced bikes - I own (2) HF1100's and a city scrambler

like most days, I ride my bike , park it at the end of the day, and repeat .
Today I powered up the bike - hit the thumb control - and " nothing " -
Rear hub makes a slight click sound - and will not go -
I checked the torque sensor - when I peddle - nothing happens -

I checked all wire connections, swapped out the battery,
opened the battery compartment , to check if anything was loose -
Everything looked good, no errors on the display,

Since I own (2) HF1100's , one silver and one black .
I parked the 2 bikes side by side, and cross swapped the HUB motor connections.
And found that the silver HF1100 hub is the failed component ( not cool )

I called Juiced tech support , Mark the tech said it sounds like the clutch is the issue -
It was suggested to lift the rear of the bike up off the floor (about 12 inches)
And carefully drop the bike several times to possibly release the clutch -

To no avail - My rear hub is still not cooperating

Has anyone heard of this ISSUE - It befuddles me on what to do next -

Thank You in Advance - Zorro

Is the wheel on the bad motor locked up in both directions? In any case, you have it pinned down to the motor. Switch it out. Either under warranty if applicable or your cost.

If it's your money, you can save some money by getting a motor only and learning how to lace it up. There's the other one to look at.

Thanks for replying Harry -

There is only 400 miles on the suspect motor - The Hub is not locked up - it will free wheel in both directions -
But the Hub makes a high pitch whine when manually pushing the bike -

I found a better replacement hub @ Grin tech - its a DD45_fst -
