How well do larger fat tire Ebikes absorb road shock ?

My question is for all those of you that have owned them.
I currently have 4" X 20"
But what about even bigger tires like 4.9" X 26", would that and a really good suspension seat post absorb bumps like a basic rear suspension on standard 2.4" tires?

I guess this is for those of you that have owned different bikes.

The 27.5x2.6" inflated to 2 bar (29 psi) absorb rapid road vibrations shockingly well (e.g. on washboard gravel) but there is full suspension in my e-MTB too so I cannot really tell.
P.S. 29x2.0" tyres in my Vado (rigid fork, Kinekt 2.1 seat-post) inflated to 3 bar (43 psi) do their work equally well.
