How loud is the M600 drive on the new City Commuter?

Hi. Love the new City Commuter - a lot great equipment choice and the price is amazing. It's on my short list for a new e-commuter this summer. While researching the motor (Bafang M600), I'm seeing several videos and comments about that motor being quite loud and buzzy. There's even a company making a replacement aftermarket gear for the motor to try and cut down on the noise. My current non e-bike has a belt drive and Alfine 8 hub and it's virtually silent, and it's one of the things I love about it. Is this motor noticeably louder than the Bafang Ultra (which I've heard and is very quiet)?

Thank you.

I have the FLX Roadster Special Edition. It has the same metal geared M600 motor as the City Commuter. Which looks identical to my FLX. Probably made in the same Chinese factory. It does make a soft buzzing noise. Not loud. Just always there. Bafang changed to metal gear as the original quiet nylon one wore out so quickly. I don't know how the third party gear works. For me, the motor is amazing and I don't mind the soft buzz sound. A lot of tires are very noisy and would completely overpower gear sound.

I don't pretend to know whether or not the FLX Roadster and the WW City Commuter are made in the same Chinese factory, but they are clearly not the same frame. First obvious difference is the top tube, which is bent on the Roadster and straight on the CC.

I'm almost on my third year with the nylon gears in my Ultra and no problems , so far. Quiet and smooth.

But the OP's concern is with the M600 relative to the Ultra, which he/she knows is quiet.

I took a quick look at City Commuter and just thought it looked the same. My error. Now I can't even find City Commuter anywhere on their site??

Just saw that the City Commuter is delayed until Q4. Guess I don't have to worry about the noise any longer. Back to trying to figure out what to buy.
