I have this Ancheer ebike (check link at the bottom). It was working well, until one day I was driving with the bike in the back of my rig, a tree branch caught hold of a wire and ripped it in half. Luckily it was only the wiring for the lamp and for the horn, but unluckily for me I made a stupid mistake... When soldering the wires back together, I forgot to tape the individual wires separately, so after riding the bike one day the wires must have come in contact and caused a short circuit. The battery still turns on, but nothing else functions. I was thinking perhaps replacing the screen would fix the issue (it did not). I saw a video where a guy takes apart the battery and replaces a fuse, but he had a different battery and I haven't figured out how to gain access to the fuse box.
All help appreciated. Also when giving advice, please explain it to me like I'm a child because I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to the China Ebike stuff. I do have a volt meter that I can use which is good.
