I had a wonderful 30 mile ride today (June 4) on a 30 mile loop around Nashua, Amherst, and Merrimack, New Hampshire. This was a fund raiser organized by Ride 2 Recovery. Ride 2 Recovery is a nonprofit dedicated to providing FREE recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration services for injured veterans - See more at: http://r2r.convio.net/site/TR?fr_id=1100&pg=informational&sid=1051#sthash.vOAK8hpu.dpuf.

This organization is holding a number of rides throughout the year. If you are interested, rides will be held in Chicago and Barrington, Illinois, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Orange County, Las Vegas, and San Diego between now and the end of the year.

By the way, I covered 28.5 miles on my Specialized Turbo at 18.3 mph, with 40% battery remaining. I could have done the 50 miler! I was very pleased.

Amazing how frugal/efficient ebikes have gotten! I do think Specialized was ahead of many bikes when it comes to efficiency and refinement, I remember @Brambor posting some 50 mile rides last summer. Way to go Douglas, thanks for helping with the Vets.
