High Mileage Quick-E Advise

I have a 2019 Quick-E with just over 4000 miles on it. The rear wheel is pretty much trashed at this point but the front is still doing great. I commute all year long in the Pacific Northwest, so I ride through a LOT of wet weather. What are you high mileage riders doing for wheels that will last more than a year? 7000 miles a year is going to soon become a reality as my commute recently got longer. Thanks in advance.

I recently replaced the rim on my rear wheel. It had cracked at the valve hole around 3200 miles. It was less than a year old, but Giant said they could not cover under warranty because that though it had bottomed out. I wanted to go with a wider rim, so selected DT Swiss E512. It is 25mm
