Hi guys! My fiance' & I just ordered new e-bikes that will be arriving soon, so I wanted to join this board to learn & have fun. We got the Ecotric 20" wheel folding fat bikes. Anyone have one? We're not only brand new to e-bikes & never got on one ever before, but we haven't ridden regular bikes in about 35 years. But we both feel that once we get on, it's like we rode last week! Plus, it's either now or never & in these times, we want more fun in our lives. We have a couple of places in mind to ride them, but we're going to be on the hunt for a few bike trails. I'm glad I found this board & I hope to learn a lot here!

Welcome Forever Blue, congratulations on your new purchase and good luck. You shouldn’t have any problems except riding an ebike is a lot easier to get from point to point. Just take your time and become fully acclimated to the bike and its ability. You’ve got to respect the fact that you are being propelled by a powerful motor. The ebike is not a toy. Almost immediately you will get to have the fun of your life. Don’t be a daredevil, just enjoy the ride, the scenery, and the person you’re with. Always remember to ride safe and please send along some photos of your bikes and travels.

Welcome, Forever blue I have had my ecotrec 20-inch fat tire
since Dec. 2020. Will turn 1000 miles on my next ride. Take your time and learn the systems carefully. I am 75 and made training day start in an empty parking lot, glad I did/ it took a little time to figure out the pas systems and the brake cut off for the motor. Wear helmets, ride safe, above all get out and enjoy every day.

Thanks a lot Bigal1463 & RMS! Yes, We have the perfect empty parking lot to try it out/practice as well as going there to ride hopefully regularly (but it's just on Sundays for that specific place). No one's ever really there. We've gone walking there all the time for quite a while, so biking should be OK there too.

Today, we got helmets & little bike computers (in case they didn't come w/ odometers). I'll order cup holders soon. Fiance' wants to make a few modifications after a while. He wants to paint his bike (which is why he got white) & change out the pedals to foldable metal ones & handlebars from the leather (which he doesn't care for) to probably gripable rubber. I don't know yet if I want mine painted. Do you OR anyone know where to get pedals & handlebars that will fit our Ecobikes?
