Welcome to the site.
I bought the unpowered cargo bike left to prevent the front wheel whipping sideways on obstructions. I've had that happen 5 times on MTB & cruisers, hit my chin on the road every time. When I took 5.7 hours to get home due to a 25 mph headwind in September 2018, I added a geared hubmotor & battery. I ride unpowered most of the time, but if the winds of November come early again, I can travel in 3.5 hours like normal.
