I'm having an issue with my electric hub motor . I'm in the process of swapping the axle/shaft in my hub motor I've removed the old one but I'm having difficulties purchasing a new axle these seem impossible to buy from anywhere . The size I'm looking for is 220mm in length the drop out is 170mm and the axle is 15mm in diameter .if anyone could point me in the right direction It would be much appreciated . Googled it for many hours now and I'm almost ready to give up . Thankyou all in advance .

Hi the stator as it is now is 350watt 36v it's an unamed brand from China.

So if I understand correctly you are looking to upgrade a shorter axle to 170mm? You’ve pressed out the shorter and want a longer axle for an unknown motor brand/source?

If it’s a DIRECT DRIVE you can maybe find and entire stator and axle but near the cost of a new motor. I’m afraid you answered you own question.

That is 100% correct . I really don't understand why a simple part cannot be bought .a new motor is silly money . Thankyou for all your help I'm going to try that website . Surely some one stocks such parts .

I don't think it's direct drive as it has a planetary gear system attached once is fully assembled.

If you do find it let us know if you don't mind. It's annoying when you have buy a whole unite when a part is the more practical answer. Although they're are times when a whole assembly is the way to go.

I've never seen replacement axels in 6 years of working support. Except for Bafang mid drives.
@Timpo is Googler extraordinaire. Maybe he can find, but buy a no-name motor and don't expect much support...
