Help choosing between these 2 Ghost models

Hello guys,

i'm new to the forum and to the e-bike world.

i'm looking at these 2 models - identical bosch performance motor and same bosch 400Wh battery. But beside these points and the purion vs intuvia display, which model would you recommend?

2018 model:

Looks like this one has Bosch performance CX motor.

The 2016/17 model has an adjustable stem and perhaps the Bosch performance line motor!

Both are capped at 25km/hr. If you are purchasing from a store, get the one which you like the most.
if you are getting it from an online retailer, there are better options. For ex: Cube with Bosch CX and 500whr battery

There are good options for you. Best to try it out before making a purchase.

Between the two Ghost bikes, the older model has better gears (Deore vs. Altus), brakes (Shimano vs. Tektro), and tires (Schwalbe Marathon vs. Schwalbe Impac Bigpac.

Just bought the "older" model

Indeed, I tried them and I felt better on the older one. The new model have a very soft dumper on the front stem, with no possibility to make it stiffer while in the older it's possible to adjust it.
Both have Bosch performance (none of them is CX) - I was just afraid that the older model could have had a older version of bosch performance motor... but as far as I understood there is just only one version of standard bosch performance and 2016/2017 or 2018 makes no difference.

Now to wait 1 week for the mechanicher to prepare it and set it up!
