Hi all , total newbie here from Durham UK , yep cold and wet lol , hoping to buy an e Tandem in the next few weeks ,all tips and advise most welcome ,

Welcome to the site. glad your other is willing to get out in the weather with you.
Durham has great culture (saw Sting at the cathedral on PBS I thought) but I prefer the weather here. when it gets cold, it gets dry, and I stay out on the bike. We get most of our rain in the late spring & early summer, when getting soaked is not a problem.
