I'm from Wyoming and come to Nevada for the winters. My wife and I have Aventon Pace bikes- 500 for me and a 350 for her. Great bikes for us. I had a RadMission but leaning over to the handle bars killed my back. The Pace fits me well (6'3") so my riding time has increased quite a bit.

Welcome to EBR Wyodog.

When I have visited Wyoming I was impressed with dirt roads out through the open spaces that were so smooth you could drive 60 mph or more. I know Nevada has a bunch of that too (DG - degenerated granit). I've heard of being able to do long rides starting from the Sierras out to Virginia City and back.

What type of riding will you be drawn to?

Thanks for the welcome. Most of our riding will be around Mesquite and maybe run up to St. George because they look like they have some good bike trails. Being old has its disadvantages for long rides. We probably average around 6-10 miles a ride.

Ahhhh. We don't do the long rides I hear others doing either. My hat is off to them.

We get out and away from cars in nature areas taking trails and fire roads doing 10 miles on an outing or 20 on a bigger day. We're frequently gaining elevation the first of our ride then coming back down at the end which adds another level of fun and excitement.
