Hello from the Netherlands

Hi all. I am Klaas Norg, from the Netherlands. Last month I decided my 20 year old Giant XTC 980 suffered enough and put it to rest. I bought myself a brand new Giant Fathom E+ 29. Missing the rear suspension a bit, but having loads of fun driving around with speeds I could only dream of.

How much do you miss the rear suspension? I’ve pondered an EMTB but can’t decide how much I’d miss it if I didn’t get FS.

Well I was thinking for the Netherlands it isn’t that helpful and a FS was way out of my budget. I just decided to go for it. To be honest I do miss the smoothness of the ride. And my bottom is blue from all the hits of my saddle spanking me during a long ride. I guess I have to train myself to stand up more during the ride and maybe mount a dropper to get it out of the way.
