Welcome Rob, as you know, you’ll find a ton on information here and the people are extremely helpful and friendly. Educate yourself and find a bike that will make you happy and not someone else. Go to bike shops and try them for test drives to get the feel for them. They’re not all the same and some manufacturers only sell online. And remember there is no perfect bike. Good luck
