I just took delivery of my new VanMoof S3 bike, and it's a beauty. I'm still getting used to all the extra help on my bike rides, and of course I'm enjoying the tremendous technology surrounding every facet of the bike. Each experience with the bike means more familiarity but also more questions. I'm happy to have this forum to help with that process.

The bike itself was purchased online. It was a pretty straightforward process, although because of COVID and shipping problems. My September 4 delivery date became October 12. That was a bit frustrating because almost as soon as the bike arrived, so did the famous Seattle rain! I did go back twice to the Seattle store prior to my purchase and test-drove the S3. They were very helpful and accommodating. I like the idea of having the store close, mainly because of the care and maintenance opportunities. I did purchase the "Peace of Mind" Maintenance option-- which gives me completely free (parts and labor) maintenance at 1000, 2500, and 7500km intervals.
