I just bought my first PAS e-bike a few weeks ago. I own a Specialized Roubaix road bike and wanted to expand my route options. There are many trails and gravel roads around here that have been off-limits until now. Judging by the profile photos, I may be older than most of you. I celebrate my 70th this month. But I still get around, averaging 75 miles a week. The e-bike should help me me increase that number.
I am also a climate activist and see e-bikes as playing a major role in getting people out of their gas guzzlers and into transportation that is not only better for the environment but good for health and wellness.
My wife has a throttle drive e-bike that I assembled from a kit. We took a two-day trip last week up the coast and stayed overnight in a hotel in San Simeon. Nice to be able to do a trip like that by bike.
