Hello All, Paul here
I've very recently purchased a Trek Rail 5 Emtb (Also own a Pinnacle Mercury Hybrid Ebike) and I'm very impressed so far on its performance and rideability. But the one issue I have and I am wondering if anyone can help is this. Because of the down tube thickness and lower top tube and the rear shock mount the mounting for a drinks bottle is quite limited. There are cage mount screws and I have bought a side loading bottle cage but does anyone know where i can get a small water bottle from? All I can find are around 500ml which fit but only with a tight squeeze which will eventually damage paint work etc and isn't easy to access quickly?

Welcome to the site and the hobby.
I reuse 20 oz diet sunkist or coke zero bottles. They have that hand grip around the middle where the spring steel goes and a swelling around the top which makes them stay in the cage. PET plastic is not very abrasive. May not be available in UK. Everything there in 2000 was ale, wine, coffee, hot tea (NOT iced), or bottled water. We drink our water from the tap which caused service people in restaurants to make rude faces. I'm native Am: alcohol makes me sleepy and I don't plan to spend a lot of time sleeping on vacation.
I spent 8 minutes with the Shell Guide to England 1970 before I could spot Warwickshire. Had to scan the whole west Midlands article. Birmingham-Coventry, Christine McVie country. Glad you have the leaves back. Those of us who read Austin Dickens Trollope Hardy Doyle view England as one big farm interspersed with nasty factories, coal mines, and shipyards. Lots of brick buildings crammed together. Been reading this week Frazer Golden Bough. Apparently before ship timbers and charcoal burning for iron England was one big forest full of tree worshipers!
