Hello from Lake Tahoe!

Hi, all you e-bikers out there! I have a Rad Rover, and FINALLY enjoy biking in the hills, lol. I know e-bikers catch a lot of flack for being "cheaters." My theory is that e-biking is what snowboarding was in the 80's. All the skiers hated the snowboarders! Some ski resorts didn't even allow them. Now they are everywhere! So maybe in 20-30 years, e-bikes will be allowed on all the trails. For now, it doesn't stop me! I ride those trails even with the NO E-BIKE signs. I figure, i'm pedaling and not riding like a maniac. What's the harm?

I must say that I really don't agree with your riding on trails with NO E-BIKE signs... I'd much rather you try somehow to win them over and get the rules changed. I don't think you do the community of e-bike users any good by breaking the rules. Even if, as you say, you are pedaling and not riding like a maniac.
