Hello all. I bought a conversion kit online just about a year ago. Here's the specs:

Donor Bike: Giant Suede 26", 7 speed, mechanical brakes.
Motor: Voilamart, 1,000 watt, rear hub motor.
Twist grip throttle
48v brushless motor
Controller: basic controller provided by Voilamart for 48v 1,000w brushless motor with PAS
Battery: 48v, 20 amp hour, appropriate charger supplied with Battery. Rear mounted on rack.

That's the basics of my first and, so far, only eBike. I'm enjoying the heck out of it. But, ... I have a battery problem that I'll explain later when I find the appropriate spot to write it up.

Welcome to the site.
Those 1000 W 48 v DD kits are rather easy to install, aren't they. I have one, but I didn't like the drag unpowered.
