@dbnosey, we have a lot of avid winter riders in our community, they just ride with different tires and lots of layers, so don't be dismayed. I'd recommend that you follow posts by a fellow Brit, EddieJ; he does rides in the most challenging conditions and makes it look amazing- a real inspiration!
