Hello From Belfast, Northern Ireland - Sad about purchase about first e-bike!

Hello Everyone. I wish I had seen this forum before I bought my first e-bike. I've just purchased a Superior eRX 650 Lady Urban E-Bike 2020 and am so disappointed with it. I feel that I could cycle with as much effort and speed on my normal hybrid bike. The shop advise me that it is not faulty and are implying that I am not using it right but I have used the different setting along with the 8 gears but it is still sluggish. I was prepared to exchange it and pay more for a better bike but the shops says no. It looks like I am stuck or does anyone have any suggestions!

The specs look OK. Do you know someone else that rides an ebike? Can you get someone else(non shop dude) to try yours?
Does the battery voltage decline after a long ride? Can you hear it trying something?
What speeds are you riding? I am not sure what the speed limit is on the bike.
Maybe others can comment on the motor, as I know nothing about it, but it is a good brand I think.
How 'are you not using it right'? What did the bike shop guy say you were doing wrong?
I am not trying to insult, just to learn a bit more. Thanks.
I agree with Rich if it really is not up to par, dump it, move on. Ebikes are a blast when there is a good fit. I would not settle for less if possible.
