I wanted to let you guys know that i noticed on the side of the tire it states they are moped tires.
I knew they were different than any bike tire I ever saw. The thickness of the tread and the wall thickness is at least 4 to 5 times thicker than the normal tires I took off the bike. I will take some measurements and let you see how much thicker they are
BM
If you have used them off road/gravel trails etc, What is you opinion on them for holding traction/ low to medium riding,
(not Downhill go faster Disappeari Quicki) type riding...Lol
My bike is probably 80 lbs.
I mostly ride the street so I couldn't say what they are like off road.
They have big treads and are really thick. Not even close to a slick tire but not a knobby tire either.
Kind of in between.
I've put my first 100 on these 26x4's, and have to say they're my favorite to date; completely silent, I only hear my motor and wind even at 35mph, and have great traction. A worthy upgrade
Just purchased the HEB Viperess tires on Amazon. I was torn between these and the Allscapes. Definitely not knobby, definitely not a slick. I replaced my original knobbies on my JetCurrent Pro. Much better ride, handling, angling, and very quiet. I haven't noticed a higher top speed, but I rarely push this powerful motor to its limit, though I've hit 35 mph, I tend to stay between 18 and 25 max, trying to save the higher PAS levels for occasional use. However, riding on moped tires makes me feel much more secure and confident at higher speeds.
