Have you ebiked in So Cal?

I am trying to find fun places to ride in Southern Cal with my son. We both have fat-tire ebikes. Has anyone done Catalina Island? Thanks for the replies!

He's 15. We used to share my my rad mini. Now I got him his own so we can finally venture off together. So much to explore!!

Great info! I enjoyed the video. I hadn't considered staying overnight but bikepacking and camping sounds like an ideal adventure for my son and me.

we have some great bike paths in Valencia. haven't tried the mountain trails, but I'm told they are good too.

My wife and I just took the bikes to Ventura and rode to Carpinteria for lunch, then back. All flat, 61 miles round trip, all along the coast mostly on bike paths.
In September we're going to Santa Barbara for an overnighter.

Hard to beat SoCal bike riding along the water.

We take our non-ebikes from Balboa up to Bolsa Chica. Paved dedicated trail along the coastline that is about 30 miles round trip.

I see lots of ebikes on that route.

Coronada island, you can take the ferry across with ebikes there and ride the silver strand path

diamond valley lake has a path around it but much further inland
