On a really small fixed income. Rather tall at 6'2" and about 250LBS. Wanting a E-bike to allow me to go out and do more farther from my house and do not want to be exhausted by the time I get to my destination. Also considering folding E-bike as they can travel well in a uber or such. Have been looking at "lectrics" and or "Rad Power bikes". Open to any other brands or models. Really hope to make a informed choice that will meet my needs. Not looking for speed. Looking for range and distance. On a tight budget.

RadPower’s 14ah battery pack is $449, carry the spare and swap them out to double your range.
I simply modified my rear rack with a shelf underneath to carry a spare battery. It´s not really necessary.
At 72 I lose enthusiasm for pedaling at 20 mi. With the spare I could easily get 60 mi.,should I choose
to run throttle only. My moscow is a solid general use bike that did´t cost too much, but there are even
more such bikes coming along more cheaply. At 3k mi. my only issues have been flats & a cpl. popped
spokes,( I´m the same size as Watchman. ) The stock front tire shows virtually no wear, but I needed
a rear tire to take more PSI with tougher sidewalls. A Schwalbe 29¨ x 2¨ marathon solved those issues.
(2nd battery in rack below; I made a foam & duct tape cowl to protect the connection.)

I got a 2nd 13ah for the moscow from LeoncycleUSA for $400, but it is currently $300,
& The 16ah is now $400. (dorado batteries) I can also use a 21ah & 8ah left over from
my now parts bike, a Juiced CCS. (paid $2700 - additional repairs & down time on the
CCS. The moscow cost less than 1/2 & is a better all around bike. Rad has better
support if you need a dolphin pack.
