Has anyone heard of Ziprs ?? Folding Bike

The post below was posted by another member of EBR on November 27th, I tried to order during Thanksgiving but site did not respond, tried to find a phone number to call the order in but none listed, then reached out by email and got a generic response. Have emailed them on their zendesk but no response yet.

Has anyone actually received any of their bikes?? Their website is very slick and the bike does look good on the website. I would like to order one if legit. Has anyone any info on this company??

Hello Leisure Life, welcome to EBR. There are lots of friendly people here and plenty of help. That is a fine looking bike, but sometimes looks are deceiving. Looked at their website and components. Definitely not a powerhouse, and do not tell you what brand components. Personally, I would prefer to buy from a local bike shop, if you need service, they are the ones to help you. There are other folding bikes, from good companies out there and some are sharp looking, if that’s a priority. Educate yourself about ebikes first, know what you want and need, then you can narrow it down to a couple of bike, and then start searching. Quality components are important. I’m not advising you to not buy one mail order, but if you should need service, it’s nice knowing that you bike shop has your back. Good luck and most of all, ride safe.

Why order a bike that from a company that cannot even take orders? or even answer communications? Its like you are trying to give them your money.

We are not sure if this issue was resolved as we cannot identify your case.

We had to delay the official launch due to issues with our warehouse related to the size of the batteries. All previous orders from our pre-launch in November were delivered without delays, but we had to keep the volume low as fulfilling the orders required an individual approach. We have moved to a new warehouse in Colorado during spring and officially launched this month, ready to ship in larger quantities.

We are working on creating more content and sending the bikes for reviews, so you should be able to find more information soon. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions!

So received my bike a couple of days ago.
Packaging wasn’t very good and it arrived with a severely bent spider arm on the crank assembly. It looks like no one stateside even opened this box to inspect a thing. Also a gouge in the alloy on top of the frame that couldn’t have been from shipping. Waiting 4 days for a reply from support.
