Hi
I own a Rize Leisure.
Yesterday, beautiful day , here in southern Ontario. I went for a ride ( 8 am to 1 pm) on the Hamilton-Brantford rail trail. The trail itself is about 30 km (20 mls) long each way
The bike responded really well.
I had a full charge when I left. I rode in the city for about 7 km (5mls) to the trail. At about 20 km (16 mls) in the trail I lost one bar on the battery and about 50 km (30 mls) I lost my second bar. That's really good. My average speed was 20 kmh (12 mlsh) and i will say i was always pedaling between 4 and 5 PAS with gears between 5 and 6. Basically, no effort and always pedaling. Making a point that this is a road build on an old rail track so is pretty flat. It was a Monday so there was no to many people. I did not count exactly but I was say I encountered 20 riders and 5 were riding ebikes. There are a couple of spot 400 meters (1/4 mile) each that goes thru farms (no trees) and I just went full throttle but beside that the path is all trees.
On my way back I was a bit tired so i used more the PAS but I could say i put another 20 km (16mls) per bar. When I was a few blocks from to home, at this point I've been riding for 90 km (55 mls) my battery when dead. I noticed two things , first, just before i had no bars the throttle was not working as it normally does, there was no response BUT my PAS was at 7 ( I have my setup 1-7) was working fine and second even with the display showing empty battery and flashing I was using the PAS for more that 1 km until I got home. I think I could it ride for a couple of kilometre more.
I did some 2 or 3 minutes stops to enjoy the landscape but most of it was a non stopping ride
I have fat tires and it's so nice when in the trail you see an incoming bike and you just move over outside the trail to let them pass, not worrying about stones, or wood sticks. Those wheels go through everything
I'm 60 I don't ride a lot (not until the ebike), I got home about 1, had lunch and I continued like I hadn't ridden a bike for 5 hours
