I'll include those, thanks. One thing I'm missing right away is the ability to set the bike on auto mode and have it self-adjust to however/whatever I'm riding. It's not a big thing, but without all the additional sensors the La Free has, it's a noticeable difference.Anxious to hear your impressions of the Espin, especially in comparison to the LaFree. I'm just about to pull the trigger on purchasing the LaFree myself, but still trying to decide if I'd rather have the 'zippier' ride of a hub motor/cadence sensor/throttle bike like the Espin.
Don't listen to the naysayers...I'll include those, thanks. One thing I'm missing right away is the ability to set the bike on auto mode and have it self-adjust to however/whatever I'm riding. Also, I'm not a very zippy rider. Haven't tried the throttle on the Flow yet, but never missed having one in the La Free.
Nice bike, I hope you have many many miles of fun riding it!View attachment 83094
Happy old lady after my "virgin" Flow ride around our neighborhood before the next line of thunderstorms hit!
I was so worried I would not like this bike after riding my mid-drive La Free for the last year and a half; it's definitely different, but it's also definitely fun! Probably would not work in very hilly western WA, but for what I'll be encountering on paved trails in the Piedmont Triad of NC, it seems perfect - what a happy relief!
Working on a detailed post about initial experience/impressions ..
My "bike mechanic" didn't want to install it - I'm working on itWhere's the headlight?
