Hi everyone! Just registered to EBR, thought I'd join this great community.
I am a proud owner myself of a Giant Quick E+ 2018 (45Km/h) and Trek Powerfly 5 2018 (25Km/h). On both I had riden about 1000km each, between city and mountain commuting. Personally I think they're such great bikes!
But having both Yamaha and Bosch motors, I'd find Bosch to be a bit annoying with the pedal Resistance but great on battery management. On Yamaha side is the complete opposite.
So I've been meaning to change to tubeless on both, got no idea how to do this or which tape size to buy, both rims are TL ready, but hey if you could help me and advice me that'd be great.

Kind regards.

Welcome to the forum!

You find battery management poor on the Quick E+? I have my first e-bike, a Giant Explore E+1 (2019) so I have nothing to compare it to, but I'm really quite pleased with it. I commute 30+km each way with it, and by the time I get to work I've used close to 40%. I keep a second charger at work, so I can top up if needed, or if I run some errands during the day and want to make sure I have enough power to make it home.

I can't help you with your tubeless question but I'm very curious about what's involved and the pros and cons. My wheels and tires are supposedly "tubeless ready" but I don't know what's involved in switching over.

One of the other sections of the forum, perhaps general questions, might be best for your question than this intro board.

(Oh, where abouts are you in Switzerland? I once spent 3 months in Geneva with the Red Cross and loved it. I particularly loved the incredible cheeze fondu and had it several times a week. Really.)

Good luck!
