I’m looking a lot at the grin all axle. I have a recumbent I’ll probably put one in on the rear. It appears that a big addition of recent with the rear is the integrated pas sensor.
I’ve been thinking lately about front hub applications. I already have a mid drive ebike but already the brake wear concerns me and I’ve gone down a few hills where the brakes were hot to the touch.
The torque transfer setup on the hub looks innovative. How strong is the hub both in slowing down and climbing up steep hills? Also, that much weight on the front hub is concerning. I have ridden a bionx system on a rear hub and that was less than impressive because the weight of the wheel made for some rough riding. Would the weight on the front wheel dampen or would it amplify road imperfections?
