Hello Everyone!

I’m another fairly new rider of a Himiway Cruiser, enjoying some Bay Area rolling hills, both paved and off-road. As much as I’m enjoying riding further and climbing steeper inclines, I’m already seeing limitations of this model on certain mountain bike trails.

So my next project will be to modify an aluminum Trek mb frame, mid-motor 750 watt, to create a lighter, nimble hill climber. I’ll be searching threads to soak up as much knowledge as possible.

I’m one of those clowns riding wilderness trails with a Mavic drone following along in Active Track mode...makes for compelling action videos. Drones and an eBike essentially make me Public Enemy #1 in some areas.

Really thrilled to join the eBike world, learn how technology has advanced over the years, and how it will continue to develop.

Welcome and good luck Palegic One, nice to have you aboard. Some good information here fro lots of friendly folks. Just remember to ride safe.

You are like most of us, our first e-bike has limitations. I started with a Rad, similar to the Hemiway, now I have a Specialized Turbo Levo. It is a big change in power and comfort. It's also easier to load a 50 lb bike instead of a 70 lb bike.

Enjoy riding what you got.

Thanks for the welcome to you both. Now I want a Specialized eBike, too!

Did you see the new 2022 levo's very nice. Now if we could just get them to make a fat tire again we need some more serious fat tire emtb on the market

I don’t think so. I found this site and couldn’t be happier that there are a great bunch of helpful and friendly members. Again, I wish you well.
