I bought this tool to remove the front chainrings on my giant dirt E+2.

It's expensive but a good investment.

makes the job of removal so easy.

I have the nut version on my motor (synchdrive C) so sadly that one wont work. The torque needed means its easy for a socket to slip off. It was worth it buying that tool. I know its expensive but its really so easy to do the job now.
