GoTrax Shift S1 vs Swagtron EB7 vs Swagtron EB7 Plus

This would be my first experience with an e-bike. I'm not a long-distance rider. I would mainly use the bike for quick trips around Palm Springs on relatively flat terrain. I am leaning toward the GoTrax because it's cheaper, a bit lighter, and they have additional chargers available for purchase. Swagtron's chargers are out of stock. I've also read complaints about the Swagtron's pedal assist or cruise control feeling "out of control". The GoTrax may have the same issue, but I haven't read about it - at least not yet. I realize that with the GoTrax, I will have to purchase a kickstand and a light, so that will reduce the apparent savings between the two bikes.

The Swagtron EB7 Plus has a longer range (20 miles), but it seems to be out of stock everywhere. It's also $200 more than the Shift S1.

Any thoughts about any of these bikes?

DO NOT BUY the Gotrax... Just got mine, it has some fatal flaws.

Being a fixie, i.e., only one fixed gearing, it is not geared right for most situations. Get a bike with 5 or 7 speeds. Gotrax has 'speeds', but they do not change the gearing. So when going uphill, the peddling is too hard. When going above 10mpg on the flat or down, you're spinning the crank uselessly.

Not a happy purchase. Will be dumping this bike.
