I ordered a BBSHD Juggernaut Classic last week and received it Christmas Eve. Put it together today and I must say this was the most pleasant ebike experience I've had and I've had a few. The box was delivered by Purilator without a mark on it and the bike was pristine, not a mark on the silver paint, everything went together easily and once together everything worked. The bike is larger than I thought, i ordered it with 27.5 wheels and 3" rubber, I'm 6'2" and 200 pounds, if the bike had of been another cm higher it would be too large for me, ouch. I called Roshan a few times, sent a few email and just been a pest in general but he answered ever call himself and returned every email quickly. I've made a couple changes since receiving the bike ( display )etc and Roshan has helped me quickly and at no expense to me (surprisingly). I changed my mind on the display after receiving the bike but that was just me, Roshan offered me a choice of a few different models, I opted for the DPC-18 colour model.
Having competed in mountain biking since the early day in the eighties I've had a lot of experience with different suspension forks and usually opt for expensive air forks but I'm 80 now and the stock forks will do,I have to say these are the best spring forks I've ever used. I haven't really tested them yet but so far the forks and the upgraded hydraulic brakes I would rate really well.
I ordered a gear sensor which is really slick, they installed it exactly how I would have done it, I like it up on the handle bar out of dirt and harms way, I recommend it. The bike came with a Deore 10 speed derailleur when they advertise 9 sprockets, maybe they made a mistake? There's a metal protector mounted on the right side of the derailleur, something I didn't expect. The bike is set up nice with a perfect chainline which doesn't happen often.
I would like to see better bike specs listed on their website and some assembly instructions plus tools included in the box, I think it could be difficult for someone without mechanical or bike assembly experience. And no, I'm not related to Roshan. This is my first bike with a BBSXX drive and I can't wait to get out exploring with this bike. A great product, thanks Biktrix!
