Hello these tyres on this bike were advertised as tubeless. After getting a puncture and having to try and fix it. We are struggling to get the tire off. We have cut it open and there was a Tube inside it but we can’t get the tire off, Any ideas

They're usually tubeless ready, which means tubeless capable wheels and tyres but delivered with inner tubes in place. It's an additional step to convert them. The shop can do it or try yourself. You'll need valves, sealant and rim tape to cover those spoke holes. It's very rare for any bike across any brand to be handed over tubeless unless you've requested it.

Looks like a good seal on that tyre bead. You shouldn't have to cut it off (handy advice in retrospect). The Rekons are excellent tubeless tyres. In your case try a clamp or pliers to really grab a hold of that tyre and pull away from the rim. A second person holding the rim down may help.

One option for difficult beads in the future is to lay the tyre down flat and carefully step on the tyre with your foot. That usually does the job.

Both my Giants (Fathom and Stance) along with my son's Talon came tubed but tubeless ready.
And agree that Rekon is a great tubeless tire.

The Tyres that came on the bike are Kenda and not tubeless the rims are tubeless ready apparently. It’s my father who is having the problem, he has managed to get the tyre off, thanks for the replies

Ah, silly me for assuming the tires are the same as my son's Talon.
Cheers

Ugh, Kendas. Wise move ditching those. The Talon E3 comes with the Maxxis tyres here in Australia. Glad to hear he's sorted it out. Thumbs up for a tubeless setup from me. Perhaps get the shop to take care of the install and grab a bottle of Stan's to top up every 3-6 months.
